- Ability to restrict Manual Entry from the VeriScan Cloud portal. On the VeriScan Cloud portal under Settings > Local Setting > Device Access, you can specify whether end users are allowed to collect visitor information by scanning and manual entry or by scanning only.
- Sticker Detected alert for ID Authentication subscribers. VeriScan will notify you when it detects a sticker, tape, or residue on the ID, which can negatively affect the authentication engine’s ability to properly authenticate the ID.
- Interlock Restricted Detected alert. VeriScan will now display an alert pop-up when it detects a license that has an interlock restriction.
- Completed adding missing UV reference images.

- The controls for the Views section of Local Settings have been moved to the VeriScan Cloud portal. Admins can now select which view their end devices will be using and enable an option to allow for the end devices to change this setting on their own.

- Unacceptable ID Types. You can now set which types of IDs will be deemed unacceptable. If an ID is scanned that is not on your acceptable ID type list, an alert pop-up will be displayed.

- Link to the Hertz support site in the top bar of the VeriScan app.
- A Barcode Readability Check Alert Pop-up will appear when a barcode for a specific ID series was expected but not readable (damaged, dirty, obstructed, etc.). This outcome will result in an Authentication failure and it is recommended that additional verification of the person is performed.
- An Underpowered USB Port Alert Pop-up will appear when VeriScan detects that the M500 ID scanner is plugged into an underpowered USB port, potentially resulting in poor image capture. It is always recommended that the scanner is plugged into a powered USB hub or a USB 3.0+ port.

- Multi-scan alerts will not display a FLAGGED status but instead reflect the Authentication results.
Removed
- Removed the age validation and coloring component of VeriScan on the Scan Results screen. Only the age displayed in a gray box will be visible.
