If I need to replace a computer, how do I transfer the VeriScan license to the new computer? 


Replacing devices is now something you can do without contacting support 

Note: If your Entra ID has not already been provisioned for access to the VeriScan Cloud portal, you will need to make a Saviynt request before following these instructions. 

  1. On the old computer, open VeriScan, navigate to Support > Help > License and click Log Out
  2. Log in to https://veriscancloud.com with your Entra ID
  3. Navigate to Access Management > Devices
  4. Search for the device login used on the old computer to find your license. Alternatively you can search by the serial number on the bottom of your scanner. 
  5. Click the Hardware button to view the unique hardware ID assigned to the old computer
  6. Click the trash button for the hardware ID associated with the old computer to delete it
  7. Once deleted you will see a confirmation message, and there will be no hardware ID listed for the device login
  8. On the new computer, open VeriScan and go to Support > Help > License to re-use the device login and license the new computer.
