Calibration and Cleaning Alerts:

The Calibration Alert will begin popping up every 3 months or 3,000 scans, whichever comes first. 

The Cleaning Alert looks just like the alert above but only pops up every 6 months regardless of scan count.

Steps for Clearing Alerts:

To clear calibration and cleaning alerts for your E-Seek M500 ID Scanner, follow the instructions below. Please note that users need an admin PIN to clear these alerts. 

Step 1:  Unlock the device with an Admin PIN and open Settings > Devices.

Step 2:  Expand the E-Seek M500 section and click the relevant button (Calibration Complete or Cleaning Complete) to reset.

Step 3:  See the confirmation message that the calibration or cleaning is complete and the alert was reset.

Step 4:  Relock the device.
