Performance and durability of the scanner are dependent on regular cleaning and maintenance. 

Dust Removal:

To be performed every 3,000 scans or every 3 months, whichever comes first.

Dust removal should only be performed by a Hertz IT Field Technician or location manager.

Roller Cleaning:

To be performed every 6 months.

Roller cleaning should only be performed by a Hertz IT Field Technician or location manager.

Insert the cleaning card into the scanner. Repeat with fresh cleaning cards until the card comes out clean.

General Tips:

Avoid placing scanners in areas where dust tends to accumulate.

Cleaning cards are single-use only.
