Troubleshooting:
Lack of Indicator lightsCheck USB and electrical connection.
Unable to insert driver's licenseCheck USB and electrical connection to the ID scanner.
Driver's license will not ejectPull lever on right side of scanner to open access door, and remove the ID. Contact your Hertz IT Field Tech or local management before scanning additional documents.
Lines appearing on the ID imageUse the calibration card to recalibrate.
Dark bars on the ID imageContact your Hertz IT Field Tech or local management.
Dark/black imageEnsure the scanner is plugged in to a powered, USB-3 port.
How do I locate my scanner's serial number?The serial number is located on the bottom of your scanner.
